New Mexico Soccer Player Inadvertenty Helps Soccer's Pansy Image
Written by Bob Biscigliano

Take a look at these highlights from the New Mexico/BYU women's soccer match.

I guess some people would call Elizabeth Lambert scrappy.  Others might call her dirty and say,  "that's one crazy bitch."  And then there are few who might even be slightly aroused by this type of behavior.

Personally, I think I now enjoy women's college soccer more than any type of men's soccer.  Van Pelt says the above highlights have "MMA qualities" and rightly so.  Meanwhile, men's soccer has a lot of "WWF qualities," and by that I mean, a whole lot of ridiculous fake dives.   Kudos Ms. Lambert for being real and kicking some ass in a sport that seriously needed to improve its "soft" image.

But seriously, she's nuts.
